Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile picture to create your account. We do not access any other Google account data.

When you use GlideComp, we collect and store the following data on our servers:

  • IGC track files you upload
  • Task definitions and competition data
  • Analysis results and metadata associated with your tracks

Some data may also be cached locally in your browser (localStorage/IndexedDB) for performance.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Account information (name, email, profile picture) is used to identify you within the application
  • Track files and task data are stored securely in the cloud so you can access them from any device
  • Analysis results are stored to avoid re-processing and to enable sharing features

3. Third-Party Services

GlideComp uses the following third-party services:

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies for authentication sessions. We may use your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB to cache data and store application preferences locally on your device.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. This removes all account data, uploaded tracks, tasks, and associated analysis results from our servers, and revokes the Google OAuth grant. Local browser data (localStorage/IndexedDB) can be cleared through your browser settings.

If you have submitted tracks or other information to a competition, deleting your account does not automatically remove that data from the competition. You will need to contact the competition administrator to withdraw your tracks and associated information from the competition.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure:

  • Account and metadata are stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite database)
  • Track files and other uploaded content are stored in Cloudflare R2 (object storage)

We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

7. Children's Privacy

GlideComp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
